AOT in dynamics ax 2012

AOT is an Application Object Tree and this can be accessed from the IDE or can be accessed through windows shortcuts.

CTRL+D is the shortcut to open dynamics ax AOT.
CTRL+SHIFT+W creates a new workspace

AOT has the Data Dictionary,Macros,Classes,Forms and more..

It comes in handy to add and create elements.
eg:-Data dictionary can be used to create tables,relations,indexes,fields,field-groups.
